Spring has Sprung!
3/21/2011It seems spring is upon us as we have finished up the first race of the season! Weatherton Racing rolled onto the track for the first time in 2011 March 18th and 19th at the Spring Nationals in Beatrice, NE. We had a slow start to the weekend but made the A-Feature on Saturday night and finished up in the 13th spot. "It was a tough field of cars on a tough track away from home", Notes Weatherton "But we learned allot and tuned the car in, giving us a head start on the local competition back home!"
Plans for the 2011 have shaped up a little different for 2011. This year we plan on running a USRA sanctioned B-mod at Rock Rapids IA, Wagner SD, and Huset’s in Brandon SD. We won’t be traveling as far but instead focusing on taking home some points championships at the end of the season.
